!! Need Some Help Working The XP !!

Hi.

I've got a windows Vista laptop from Toshiba, though I seem to be having some trouble with the RPG Maker XP. Everything works well, except some minor little things. Whenever I try to test the music, or view battle animation under database, it all shits down, saying something like: invailed c0000005 at adress c0000000.

I've changed the compatability, and went in under administer, though it doesn't change anything. I wondered if I needed to download something.
By the way, the software works perfectly on my Windows XP, which is a Dell.
