The pic shows mostly what i want, now the colors of the menu doesn't matter as it can be changed easily, I want the map visible in the background but not fully just want he menu partially transparent.
as you can see the steps window has been replaced by the name of the current map you are on also game time has been replaced by a small pic of the current map (these are in the same window)
it's not a great pic but it is how I want the layout of the faces and what I want on the left (the window and color of the window is in no means what it's supposed to look like but it's the best IO could do in paint)
I also want the save text to be removed as you can only save at a save point.
also the transparency making the map visible in the background should be on all the menus, also only the character name and hp are on the primary menu screen all other stats are accessed by the stats option.
and the highlighted character is as you can see highlighted by a colored square around the character face.
