I was thinking to start out, give the character an actual good life. 17 year old male (I doubt I'll allow gender choice) who wants to apply to become a Knight of Kingdom of Nol (Thee flying cloud kingdom he lives on). The examine is given out every three months for the test to become a Knight right away, or they could train under a Cloud Knight ( One of the very few elites ) for 7 years. The Main Character decides to take the easy route as you can start training at 15 and they usually reject people from that too ( he was rejected ). Though the game takes place a day before his test. There is a tournament going on to celebrate something ( I have not figured out yet), but whatever. The main character and his two best buddies go to watch it and guess that most the guards from the castle would have to be gone and could try to sneak into the Royal Guardians (because of course seeing flowers and grass on a cloud kingdom is pretty worth maybe being thrown in jail). None the less they go off and do some silly trick to the guards in the front, I am thinking either basic blind magic or a flash bomb to sneak past them. Then head off to the gardens.
I can't decide yet if there should be enemies on the way as in guards to arrest them or something, but its pretty hard to believe three 16 - 17 year olds could beat armed soldiers.
But none the less. . . I am planning on them making it to the Kingdom and seeing a supposed Statue holding a stone, 'Stone of Nol', very cliche I think indeed, but meh. The Stone allows the Kingdom to stay in the air more or less, but is supposedly inside the Palace somewhere unknown to the commoners. So this of course comes to the amazement of them and they doubt it deeply as its probably just some fake version of it for looks. They would stay for awhile probably and then shove off,
(They are wearing masks I am guessing if they ran into guards because then it would screw over Main Character and his Knight business)
The day will pass and the Main character will go off to the Palace only to be sent to the Armory where he will pick out of three sets of armor for him to use (This is where they decide what class they want. Warrior, Thief, Paladin ( Who will all rely on different stat builds even if warrior and pally sounds the same)) He will pick one and go off only to find out that he is fighting a Cloud Knight for his Test. The tutorial for fighting will happen here as the Knight will toy with him and such. Then end it swiftly afterwords and go ahead to arrest the M. Character for sneaking into the Gardens (They found out! O: (Even if they have masks on)).
The M. Character is thrown in jail, but a few hours or maybe a day after something will happen that will make the guards flee the jail cells. Giving him the chance to flee as his one friend sneaks in and unlocks the door. They head off and the friend will tell the M. Character that the guards were distracted by this bad thing happening, which is the Stone is being targeted because the Kingdom is under attack. M. Character will rush off to the gardens probably alone or with his one friend (Who knows what happened to the other.) Only to find indeed he was right and that the stone in the statue is the real thing. Of course it will be another fight he loses, but none the less the stone will break and actually explode will a high amount of magic. Luckily the villain works like a body shield and is destroyed utterly and the M. Character frozen in Ice only to fall from the Kingdom.
He will awake 100 or so years later, I am not sure why yet though, maybe an earthquake? Whatever the cause is, it destroys the ice and frees the M. Character.
And that's mostly what I have so far... any input?
