I quit a while ago.
Realized I hated my class, Druid. I may give it another go, was nearly level 40 with NEARLY max engineering. Killed so many level 60 Pallies due to my devilish Mind control hat. >)

He does, but not on Blackrock. He ditched me for his rl friends on another server, and that's when I stopped playing 
And if I ever make another character, it'll be on Medivh, where my rl friends play.

Heh, my rl friends are all sick of their PvE server and want to move to Blackrock... but they don't want to leave their level 60 guys. So until the server change service is enabled...

Yeah, should be in the expansion pack, but you never REALLY know with Blizz. I mis-read their "Battle-Plan Vol. 2" and expected them in 1.8. oh well, 1.9 will be pretty sweet.

I'm kinda getting bored of my priest (57) on Spinebreaker. Haven't played on Blackrock in a looong time. If you guys (especially Omen) start playing again, tell me which server and I'll be glad to join. Not on as often as I used to be though (college lol).

I'm pretty sure you can't switch from PvE to PvP anyways. At least thats what Blizz' standpoint was.
If they allow PvE to PvP transfers that's pretty retarded.

Blizzard has been and will always be stingy about server transfers. The only reason they ever open up server-server transfers is when they have problems, such as overpopulation, with specific servers, like Blackrock. Blizzard couldn't care less if you wanted to switch servers to play with your friend on whatever.

TGP, I have a 34 pally on Windrunner that I will be playing some, A few toons on Blackrock with some RL friends, and play on Kirin Tor (RP) with some other friends. It'd be cool if you came back to blakrock, though.

I don't play anymore, sadly. But I have a recommendation: at level 10, get the HELL out of Teldrassil and follow those simple directions.
From Darnassus, take the boat to Auberdine, in Darkshore.
From there, take the boat to Menetil Harbour, in the Wetlands.
From there, follow the road to the gates of Dun Algaz. (ask for directions if you need help getting there)
Follow the road through Loch Modan and head for the mountains of Dun Morogh. (ask for directions)
When you're in Dun Morogh, go to Ironforge. Ignore the lag.
Go to the Tinker Town District and take the Deeprun Tram to Stormwind City.
From there, go to Westfall. That's where you're going to spend the next 8 levels. Trust me, the night elf lands suck THAT much. Azeroth is much awesomer: After you're done with Westfall, you can go to the Redridge Mountains, and then to Duskwood, and then to Stranglethorn Vale. And if you ever need something, you can just go to Stormwind (which is much awesomer than Darnassus).
Don't forget to talk to the gryphon master of every town you go to before leaving. 75% of the night elves travel to Azeroth. It's worth it, and it's a nice adventure anyway. You get to see three continents, lots of cities and areas.

I haven't stopped playing WoW for over a week ever since I started playing it. I have a level 60 paladin, a level 60 priest, a level 43 warrior and a level 18 warlock. My main is the priest - Amuniliya, level 60 troll priest on Argent Dawn EU (RP). This is what she looks like:
Guys, reactivate your accounts now... the game starts at 60, especially when you're in a good instance guild.

Ergh. I don't like the thought of spending 5 hours with 40 random people to kill a guy that will respawn the next day just to get some epic loot. I loved the game because of the scenery and the lore and all that stuff.

You'll see a lot of scenery and parts of the lore as you progress through end-game instances, the loot is only a small reward. And calling your guild "random people" is like calling Townies "random people".

Why the HELL are you not starting on Spinebreaker? I play horde on Spinebreaker, 60 priest, 36 rogue, other characters. Have a 18 druid on Boulderfist, alliance. If you have no reason to stay on that server move to mine

Good RP servers are fantastic. I used to spend hours every day solely for RPing...
Although, as sad as it is, the higher my level got the lower my motivation for RPing got. Now I only RP occasionally when I meet a friend in Orgrimmar, and only for a few minutes. Good thing some hardcore troll RPer named Jeruk started playing on Argent Dawn and made me RP some more. Here's a screenshot of us dancing in Blackrock Mountain (he's level 6 and he went all the way to Blackrock Mountain!)

Heh, funny/freaky WoW story.
Tonight, I met a guy who I thought would be a great RP friend. He spoke of a revolution, banding the Alliance together to fight the Horde. I was really excited, he soudned like a really cool guy. But, then he went out of character, but still talked about the "revoltion" and "watching the Horde's blood flow like a river".
His exact words were something like "RP or not, we will watch the blood of the Horde flow like an ocean". I was like...well, that's kinda weird, he was in character the whole time, then to say that was weird. Then, he started to go on out of character saying how "We will make all those who do not join the cause suffer unimaginable tragedies. They will learn the ways, if they are in the game or not."
At this point, I was realizing that...uh, this wasn't for me. I mean, I enjoy RPing, but when you go out of character but still talk about killing and destruction and stealing, I get a little red flag in my head.
I jumped out of that ASAP. But I have to tell them. I can't say I'm looking forward to logging back on to have them say "WHERE WERE YOU WE LET THE BLOOD RUN LIKE A RIVER AND KILLED EVERYTHING. WHAT IS YOUR HOME SNAIL MAIL ADDRESS? WE WOULD LIKE TO SEND YOU A BONE OF AN ORC!"

Also, aren't you annoyed by all those people who think an RP server is a place to RP in only when you feel like it? A few months ago I was at Crossroads talking to my ex-Guild Master, when I said something like "We must go and slay every single gnome, human, dwarf or night elf we see and avenge our fallen soldiers.". Then one of the random newbies said "thne go rol a pvp servr lol ^^". People like that usually go to my ignore (it may sound odd, but saying 1 thing OOC ruins the entire RP feeling for me), but I decided to have some fun with him.
Me: "Hm? Pee...veepee? Is that some sort of engineering device? Ahh, those wretched gnomes and their gadgets."
Him: "no pvp a servr wher u can kil evrey aliance u see"
Me: /sigh "I know not of this... "server" you are talking about, orc, but I am quite certain I'm capable of killing any alliance I see already."
Him: "lol u take this gaem 2 seriosly ^^"

I think to say that blood elves were a waste of a good horde race is an understatement. Instead of trying to integrate a worthwhile race like Naga, it looks like the horde is going to get a bunch of illegitimate night elves instead.
