Is no one using the forum anymore?

Seriously. I know I usually only skim the forum without logging in until I find some interesting posts or when I need to discuss something, but there are hardly any new forum activity in the last two months. Aren't any of the newer members going to ask something?

I need something to do that doesn't have anything to do with my own game. Maybe I shouldn't have created such a large world map that is subdivided into multiple maps. It gets tiring doing mapping, but without the map I wouldn't be able to continue the story. I already finished the scripting and waiting for my friend to finish the battlers.

Doesn't anyone have an interesting scripting problem that is challenging but not beyond my scripting ability? Something I haven't done before. NEED something to DO. BRAIN rusting from under use. Even my current freelancing work is BORING.

P.S. : I found a typo on my last Quest script. If any of you used it, just find the lines that track the main quest progress. I typed sq there where it should have been mq. If it's not fixed your main quest will use the progress of the side quest with the same number.

I'm still here when I can be, but that's not all too often. Not sure how we can bring back the community, but I'm willing if you have ideas.

I check the boards just about every single day, and you'll notice all but one, I think, of the most recent posts in the Game Maker's Guild section are mine.  Maybe I scared everybody away?  I still have my RPG2k3 project I'm working on, but I haven't had nearly the amount of time to dedicate to it that I did this past winter.  Luckily all I have left to do is mapping and creating the NPC events--the battle and menu systems are 100% complete.  If I come across any issues I need help with, Reaper you'll be the first to know Smile

Just you know I'm only good with XP's ruby scripts. Though recently one of my friend gave me a dvd set of the original gundam series to help him script his VX Ace h-game. Not so different than XP except for the location of the various resources. The only reason he had to give me a bribe was because I originally refused to work directly on h-games. If he wasn't such a close friend I would still refuse him, even as bored as I am.
