YES, the game is amazingly well done and thought out, focusing only on the main plot i finished in about 7 hours, though there is a tone of sidequests that im STILL doing, at about 12 hours now.
The curcomstances are a little... weird, so, bear with me while i explain. basicly, i was looking for porn at the time, lol, no joke xD one of my favorite artists just relieased this game, i knew what rpg maker was cuss i messed with it some years ago, normally i woulda blown it off, but i decided to give it a shot. I was amazed, its remarkably well done game, with 2 or 3 adult scenes that it gives clear indication as to wether or not you want to skip. they are done in good taste as well, the first only being found 2-3 hours into the game.
Dispite the adult content the game takes itself seriously, which i, unfortunantly, find very rare in rpg maker games (go figure i'd find it under such cercumstances, right? >_>)
not only is the game long, but it takes a very, very (almost annoying xD) great deal of importance into choice, there is a key event half way through that basicly lets you choose whether you want to be good, or evil, either choice making the game branch off drasticly from the other, basicly you'll be in totally different areas from that point on depending on what you choose.
one cool thing about the choices it gives you is you can pick and choose your party members, you basicly have to look around each town you find for anyone you find who looks tough (or cool, in my case xD sycho fire mage w/ red sunglasses won me over) and basicly hire them. as such, they dont mean much as far as the plot goes, but it adds a great deal of customization when it comes to your group, and also whenever you reach a resting point (be it an inn, ect) you will see all your guys and be able to interact with them, they'll say something different depending on where your at and how far you are ect.
You can also buy a house an a boat, apparently, but im too cought up in the legendary monster hunting quests after you finish the game to bother with those atm, duno what they do but i ecourage someone else to find out for me xD

The spambot has awakened!!! I, Vaan, find a ultima gun, i approach the spambot,"BUY VIGARIA REAL CHEAP!", it says. I responed with,"To be, or not to be." "????????" It said back. I shot the spambot in the head."Not to be." The crowd cheered. "My first spam kill, one small step for me, a bounding leap for spamhunters." A man then said, "I present thy with the Spamhunting gun. May the spamhunting god be with you." Then he gave me a gun. I thanked him for it then told him i needed to go see to it that my airship gets repaired along with "Do i get a trophy or somthing?" He told me the gun was the reward.
