Free music making software?
Does anyone know of a free music making software? Preferably ones that work and can make good 16-bit music.

There's a free midi music maker called Anvil Studio, but I don't know if it can make 16-bit music.  I forgot the site, but I found it by searching for Anvil Studio on Google.  You have to know your notes and music notations though.  I can only make basic music because I don't know what most of the notation means.  Still it's pretty good.  The problem was with me, not the software.

Anvil Studio can be a bit fiddly, and not particularly welcoming to those who aren't familiar with at least a basic grasp of musical notation, but it's the best free solution I've come across. I believe there are better programs but they also have less reasonable price bracket.

Using the mode which let you easily listen to specific sound, this should be a  bit more of a success.  - GE Pro Elite
