After my last game recieved much criticism before it was even played for many, many reason, I have decided to start on a new project now that I am slightly more skilled at using RPGXP. I have taken some of the unique concepts of my old game and redesigned them to fit nicely in this one.
1000 years ago, the three Kindgoms of Alure, Sellador and Vanil were at war. The kingdom of Sellador possesed a mystic book known as the book of Ethia, which contained records of events which happened in the past, and which are going to happen in the future. Naturally this book would give any in it's possesion a chance to attain ultimate power. It is because of the book of Ethia that the 3 Kingdoms were at war...
Dark Pages is a fantasy RPG in which the player takes control of a character named Aralin, and his brother Axaion. Aralin and Axaion are bored of their little village, Fayte, and have decided to explore the outside world. Upon entering the deserted wreckage of one of their old neighbouring villages, Nulon, the two brothers stumble upon the book of Ethia deep within the village. When they discover what the book actually is, they realise that the end of the book must mean the end of the world.
The two brothers find where the book must be upto (the present tense, so to speak) and realise that the end of the world lies only a few pages away. After this, the two brothers embark on a quest to try and stop the chaotic events which will ultimatly lead to the worlds destruction...
Along the way, more secrets about the worlds past are uncovered, and new evils arise.
It is revieled to the world that it's destruction is near, creating confusion and anarchy across the planet.
The game is a work in progress, and I intend to customize as much as possible to truely make the game my own.I am going to try and discard the current RTP as much as I can and redesign the graphics. Due to this, a demo of the game will not be available for a while.
Let me know what you think of the gerenal overview of the plot so far... ;p
...Axaion...
You had me until you decided an "x" was a suitable letter for a made up name.
