Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Napoleon. Many are said to be the greatest conquerer in history. They all eventually lost to the enemy of all. Time.

I voted for the advanced classes even though I generally favor a classless game system. The rest of the ideas seem really trivial imo.

I'm going for banks. seems it's the only idea that the player can actually make

use of.....

horses: let's face it. I bet the player will eventually go find better and faster ways of transportation

Advanced classes: I'd go with mew on this one... less classes = easier interface

lots of game time can be lost if you make a very complicated class system

Proffesions: pretty much the same as ADV classes if you moderate them they might be good enough

(or you could have this personal assistant who does these services for free if you provide him the materials)

DEATH: It can be very annoying if you set this ratio high. death even on videogames can be very tedious and frustrating

Burgers: sure why not (I would have voted this but bank = win)

           burger fan? XD

Thanks, any more comments, as said before will be appreciated.

Also RAVSO, one comment from me, mostly bosses, and I mean main bosses, could deathblow you. Your lowly level 2 thief cannot, however your level 129 Dragon can lol

still that would result in the typical "aeris's death" moment.

people didn't cry because she died, they cried because they permanently lost their

#1 healer on the game. (unless of course you plan on giving the player a chance to revive)

Oh forgot to mention that. You can revive them if you go to a church, who will want a donation, because, come on, the church was pretty shady in the 1300s lol, or the mage's guild, which can revive them for free if you have a Mage character who is ranked as a full fledged wizard or above, as we don't want every guy and his slightly magical wand being able to revive people. Also by donating to the church, even when reviving people, you're reputation goes up! Yay. lol

Lol and another note, it won't be too ridiculously high to raise them from the dead too. It'll be a larger sum but not enough to bankrupt you lol.

I do believe the main reason people shed tears for Aeris was because she was killed in a story-driven plot device, meaning that she did not die in battle, but that in the story of the game she was slain. I did feel sad, the music definitely had a part in it. Although this is most definitely not the first time a main character died in a game due to plot device and whatnot. The cat girl in the first Phantasy Star, as well as Alys from Phantasy Star IV were such cases. I myself only witnessed the death in Phantasy Star IV, and it made me sad.

Don't tease the octopus kids!
